Jackstand has officially been a performance entity since 2012. And in that time have shared the stage with national acts like Autograph, Bulletboys, Molly Hatchet, Derek St. Holmes, Gus G., Junkyard, Little Caesar, Saliva, Tracii Guns' LA Guns, Whitford/St. Holmes and others, like Television personality "THE GHOUL" while building a fervent and loyal fan base.
Their music is artfully skilled and played, with a passion that is forged from years of collective recording and performance experience.

They deftly honed their craft as veterans of several Detroit area rock bands. It’s as if all their hard work over the years has led to the formation of this project. And, to a great extent, it has! There are no gimmicks when it comes to this outfit. It is equal parts soul, sweat, melody, groove and grit, with harmony vocals, guitar solos and an overall tight feel. It is rock ‘n roll in a classic vein that translates extremely well to audiences of all ages.
With a performance schedule that is consistently heating up, JACKSTAND will assuredly be the band to watch throughout the Detroit market as well as surrounding regions in the near future.

Providing direct support for the headliner was Jackstand from Detroit. They are fronted by Daniel Ahearn on vocals and harmonica. Rounding out the lineup is Bradley Matheny (guitar), John Isom (bass), and Danny Smith (drums). Jackstand has been playing live shows since 2012 and has opened for national acts including Saliva, Autograph, and Molly Hatchett and many,many more to date.
Jackstand revved up the crowd for the evening; they just flat-out rocked the house. Smith and Isom laid down a powerful groove while Metheny provided the catchy guitar hooks. Frontman Ahearn knew how to work the stage and got the people out of their seats and moving. The band blazed through a set that included the songs “Crash n Burn,” “Rodeo,” and “Going Insane.” Jackstand is a great band to see live; they offer powerful songs and entertaining to watch.
